9 months ago Emma was 6 days old!! Time sure does fly. Our little chunk is all over the place these days. She loves exploring her sister's room, under the dining room table but her favorite room of all is the bathroom, go figure! I think it may be the monkey's on the shower curtains. Her vocabulary is limited to hi, bye, dada and ma. Oh, and high pitched screaming, of course!
My girl loves to eat. She loves just about anything we have her try but her favorite has to be grandma's chicken and star soup. Cheerios are must have snack in our house these days. Emma is not a fan of jarred food so we must either share our food or prepare her food from scratch. She weighed a whopping 21 lbs 13 oz at her appointment this past week. Only 10 lbs lighter than her 4 year old sister. She was also 27 inches long.
Emma has the best smile in the world. Her whole face lights up when she sees Mommy after a long day at work or when you play peek-a-boo with her. She loves weird grunting noises. They make her laugh.
This month we look forward to her first Valentine's Day and maybe even a first step. We shall see, she is getting pretty close.
